Fall MOMS of Grace Registration Now Open. Our MOMS of Grace meetings are a great time to meet other moms and share your journey through motherhood! Each mom is assigned to a discussion group that has a table leader and an experienced mentor mom. We begin each meeting with delicious food brought by some of our moms and a time to chat with other moms at your tables. Some weeks we will have a guest speaker, and some weeks we will have a party. Each week will be a blast! MOMS of Grace will meet on Mondays, September 9-May 12. Early registration price is just $40. Please register online by Thursday, August 1.

MOMS of Grace Night Out. MOMS of Grace, join us for an evening away. Enjoy great food, company, and conversation. Meet at Noodles & Company. Monday, August 5, 6:30-9:30pm.

MOMS of Grace Explore The Parks. Warm weather is here! What a great opportunity to be outside and visit some fun KC spots with moms, nannies, and other ladies with our kids. Join us every Tuesday this summer as we explore a different park or kid-friendly museum. Pack a lunch and make it a picnic! Next week, we'll visit Wonderscope Children's Museum. Visit their website for admissions rates. Meet in the first room on your left called Raceways (aka the "ball room"). Note: The museum opens at 10am. Tuesday, August 6, 10am-12pm.

Children's Ministry Cosmic Jump. Join the Children's Ministry for a time of fun and jump at Cosmic Jump. Cost is $14 (plus tax) at the door. Please fill out the waiver and bring it with you. No registration is required. Tuesday, August 13, 1:30-4pm.

American Heritage Girls Parent Information Meetings. AHG is a Christ-centered scouting opportunity for girls ages 5-18. We offer badges, camping, leadership practice, service and more in a fun, faith-filled environment. These informational meetings will help you learn more about this program. August 17/18, during all services.

MOMS of Grace Kick-Off. Please join MOMS of Grace for our kick-off party. Meet at the Grace playground for fun and a chance to get to know other moms at Grace. We will host the event inside depending upon the weather. No lunch provided. Kids are invited. Monday, August 19, 10am-12pm.

Men's Breakfast. Men's Breakfast and Serve Day Unite! Men come use your brain and your brawn all in one day! Join us for the Men’s Breakfast. From 7-8am come hear Missions Pastor David Watterson and Spiritual Development Pastor Phillip Kelley speak on the “Significance of Service.” Cost for the breakfast is $8. Then roll up your sleeves for SERVE DAY 2013! You can serve all day or just in morning or afternoon sessions. Register for the Men’s Breakfast online, as well as for Serve Day (you can select which opportunity and timeframe you want during the registration process). Saturday, August 24.

ReEntry: Re-Defined. ReEntry is back and it's going to be better than ever! Join us for our end of the summer closeout - back-to-school retreat, August 4-7! The heart behind this event is to equip you to "ReEnter" the school year with a larger knowledge of Jesus, and to teach you how to live your faith, putting it into action. This year we are focusing on "Re-Defining" yourself. The new Student Ministries Pastor, Chris Fetters, will be speaking. Cost is $85 per person. Grace Vision Class. This class, taught by Senior Pastor Tim Howey, is an authentic, action-packed class which outlines the history, uniqueness, and heartbeat behind Grace Church. It is a perfect way to catch the vision of Grace in a relaxed environment. Participation is highly encouraged and all questions are answered. Lunch and childcare are provided. There is no cost to attend this class. Please register online. Sunday, August 11, 12:15-2:45pm.

Grace@Home Identifying God Moments. Deuteronomy 6 tells us that as parents we should talk about God throughout our day with our children; but how do you start those conversations and identify those God moments? Cathy Howey will be sharing some ideas on how to look for, discuss, and remember the God moments that are unique to your family's life. Two identical classes. Saturday, August 24, 6-7:15pm and Sunday, August 25, 9:30-11am.

Children's Ministry Vision Class. Did you know we have intentionally written our weekend curriculum to facilitate families learning together? Our Children’s Ministry is excited to offer a class explaining how we minister to your child and how you can build on that throughout the week at home. We will also discuss procedures we have put in place to keep your kids safe. The last few minutes of the class will cover the information needed to be a volunteer. Whether you have been at Grace for years or you are a new attendee, you will find this class beneficial. Please register online to attend. Sunday, August 25, 11am-12:15pm.

Serve Day. Wouldn't it be awesome to have 500+ people out in the community sharing the love of Christ through action, and not just words? Everyday, God gives us opportunities to serve someone, to speak encouragement into a life, to offer peace, and to bring hope. The Outreach Team at Grace wants to give you an opportunity to do just that. On August 24, we are offering a Serve Saturday. It will include opportunities for people of all ages and all walks of life to serve as individuals, families, or as Grace Groups. Put your words of faith into your hands and serve! Times and locations will vary depending on opportunity. You will be given more information during the registration process so you can pick what works best for you and/or your family. Find service opportunities, registration links, and an Evite to share with your friends on our Serve Day page. Saturday, August 24, 8am-3pm.
