Student Ministries "Game Day at the K!" Attention middle and high school students! Invite a friend to "Game Day at the K!" Enjoy "Buck Night" and watch the KC Royals take on the Chicago White Sox. MOMS Of Grace Explore The Parks. Warm weather is here! What a great opportunity to be outside and visit some fun KC spots with moms, nannies, and other ladies with our kids. Join us every Tuesday this summer as we explore a different park or kid-friendly museum. Pack a lunch and make it a picnic! Next week , let's meet inside the main entrance at Deanna Rose Farmstead. "Peter Pan" at Theater in the Park! The students of Grace (middle and high schoolers) are invited to join us for an evening of watching "Peter Pan" at Theater in the Park on Thursday, July 11. SOARly Needed R&R. The Grace ministry for families with special needs, SOAR (Special Opportunities, Abilities and Relationships), is hosting a FREE night of respite for parents of individuals with special needs. Fall MOMS Of Grace. Registration now open. Our MOMS of Grace meetings are a great time to meet other moms and share your journey through motherhood! Each mom is assigned to a discussion group that has a table leader and an experienced mentor mom. We begin each meeting with delicious food brought by some of our moms and a time to chat with other moms at your tables. Some weeks we will have a guest speaker, and some weeks we will have a party. Each week will be a blast! MOMS Of Grace will meet on Mondays, September 9-May 12. Early registration price is just $40 -- register online by Thursday, August 1.
Grace Family Retreat. Families of Grace, take a weekend to get away to the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks at the Grace Family Retreat. Throughout this "Ohana" filled weekend we will look at practical ways to draw your family closer together and ultimately closer to our Savior. American Heritage Girls Parent Information Meetings. AHG is a Christ-centered scouting opportunity for girls ages 5-18. We offer badges, camping, leadership practice, service and more in a fun, faith-filled environment. These informational meetings will help you learn more about this program. Grace@Home Blended Family Workshop. This is a workshop offered through the Grace@Home Ministry. Kathy and David Schlotzhauer will address the needs of blended families pulling from their personal experience and biblical principles. There will be a time for questions and discussion as well. High School Ministry Outreach Event @ Freedom Fire. High school students are invited to help the Student Ministries Team love and support our local outreach organizations by assisting them in their various areas of need. Please wear closed-toe shoes, no tank tops, and modest short length for girls. Bring bug spray, work gloves, and sunscreen. Freedom Fire "Friday Night Live." Come be a missionary in your own city! No preparation needed. Simply show up to play activities with 80-100 urban kids, make crafts together, serve a meal, clean-up, and show the love of Jesus! Hope Faith Family Serve Day. Hope Faith Ministries is a faith-based ministry that serves the needs of the homeless and less fortunate in Kansas City. Come see for yourself how we are ministering to those in our own backyard. Please observe the dress code of sleeved shirts (no tank tops), pants, and closed-toe shoes.
