Student Ministries Worlds Of Fun Trip Rescheduled. Since we got rained out last weekend, we'll try again this weekend! Meet at the church Saturday, May 11, 9am - 8pm.

No Student Ministries This Sunday Night. Spend some time instead showing the moms in your life how much you appreciate them!

Do you attend Grace on Sundays? God is filling our house, and we are starting to burst at the seams during our Sunday 9:30 and 11am services! This is an answer to prayer, and we are super grateful. You can help us make room for lost people by switching to a Saturday night service. If at all possible, we would love for you to bring your friends and family to either our 4:30 or 6pm Saturday services. Just think, you can help save a life with when and where you sit!

Register Now for SBO Evenings. Jesus: Believe Him or Not! is the theme for SBO 2013. Through live worship, crazy fun sites, crafts, and teaching, kids will experience Jesus in a whole new way. Our week will be topped off by our annual SBO Carnival, where the kids can share with their families everything they learned. The morning SBO session is full; the waiting list is also full. Wednesday Prayer Meetings. Our Senior Pastor Tim Howey says, "Prayer is where the real work is done." Join Tim for the "real work" in lifting up the community, the church, and the world in prayer. No registration is required. Wednesdays, 7-8am, Room 112A.

SOAR Family Support Group. Grace offers a support group for families of individuals with special needs. This is a place where parents can laugh, cry, and pray together. We often focus on topics that relate to raising a child with special needs and allow parents to share with one another. Alison Gromer, founder of Champions Special Ministries will be speaking on "Summer Camp Opportunities for Individuals with Special Needs". Beyond the Veil: Women's Training Seminar. The Women's Training Seminar: "Beyond the Veil" is designed to support and encourage Christian women to engage and promote new relationships with Muslim women. We want to tear down walls of mutual suspicion, fear, anger and prejudice. We are dedicated to building bridges of friendship, trust, and understanding by focusing on the universal needs and roles of women. Cost is $40 per person ($45 day of event). Grace Movie Night. Kick your summer off with a Grace Movie Night! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a movie under the stars. Mom's Night Out. Moms of Grace, you are invited to join us for an evening away. Enjoy great food, company, and conversation. Meet at Mr. Gyros at 14983 West 119th Street in Olathe. Monday, June 3, 6:30pm.

Children's Ministry Vision Class. Did you know we have intentionally written our weekend curriculum to facilitate families learning together? Our Children’s Ministry is excited to offer a class explaining how we minister to your child and how you can build on that throughout the week at home. We will also discuss procedures we have put in place to keep your kids safe. The last few minutes of the class will cover the information needed to be a volunteer. Whether you have been at Grace for years or you are a new attendee, you will find this class beneficial. Please register online. Sunday, May 12, 11am-12:15pm.

Grace Vision Class. This class, taught by Senior Pastor Tim Howey, is an authentic, action-packed class that outlines the history, uniqueness, and heartbeat behind Grace Church. It is a perfect way to catch the vision of Grace in a relaxed environment. Participation is highly encouraged and all questions are answered. Your meal and childcare are provided. Impact a Life at Summer BreakOut. Summer BreakOut (SBO) has many opportunities for your talents to shine! We have volunteer needs in our classrooms, outdoors, on our stage, and even behind the scenes. If you can't be at the event, you can get involved in the preparation, or at the carnival following the event. Email Daneen Kelsey to get involved.

Israel Trip Information Meeting. Grace will be leading a team to the Holy Land October 22 to November 3. We will be serving with a ministry we support called Seeds Of Hope. We will also be visiting holy sites where Senior Pastor Tim Howey will be teaching. Hope Faith Family Serve Day. Hope Faith Ministries is a faith-based ministry that serves the needs of the homeless and less fortunate in Kansas City. Come see for yourself how we are ministering to those in our own backyard. Please observe the dress code of sleeved shirts (no tank tops), pants, and closed-toe shoes. Ages 5 and up are welcome to participate. Meet at Grace at 8:15am to caravan down. Second Saturday of every month; next one on Saturday, May 11, 9-11am; bingo 11am-12pm.

Freedom Fire "Friday Night Live." Come be a missionary in your own city! No preparation needed. Simply show up to play activities with 80-100 urban kids, make crafts together, serve a meal, clean-up, and show the love of Jesus! Meet directly downtown at 1301 Vine Street, Kansas City, MO, the "T.B. Watkins" Freedom Fire location, or caravan from Overland Park at the 888 International Market located on the northwest corner of 119th St and Hwy 69 promptly at 5:30pm that night.
