Celebrate Easter@Grace! Imagine this for a moment: watching your dad pick up Jesus' bloody cross and carry it for Him. What would it be like to watch your dad walk in Jesus' bloody footprints? Crosswalk is the one-week series we will go through Easter weekend at Grace Church. Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and talk about this amazing story. Register Now For SBO Evenings. Jesus: Believe Him or Not! is the theme for SBO 2013. Through live worship, crazy fun sites, crafts, and teaching, kids will experience Jesus in a whole new way. Our week will be topped off by our annual SBO Carnival, where the kids can share with their families everything they learned. The morning SBO session and SBO Jr. are full. Wednesday Prayer Meetings. Our Senior Pastor Tim Howey says, "Prayer is where the real work is done." Join Tim for the "real work" in lifting up the community, the church, and the world in prayer. No registration is required. Wednesdays, 7-8am, Room 112A.

SOARly Needed R&R. The Grace ministry for families with special needs SOAR (Special Opportunities, Abilities and Relationships) is hosting a FREE night of respite for parents of individuals with special needs. We also have a simultaneous sibling program for siblings from birth-13 y/o. If you or someone you know fit this demographic, we invite you to participate. To register, email [email protected]. American Heritage Girls Information Meetings. AHG is a Christ-centered scouting opportunity for girls ages 5-18. We offer badges, camping, leadership practice, service and more in a fun, faith-filled environment. These informational meetings will help you learn more about this program. Five sessions to choose from: Saturday, April 20, 4:30 or 6pm, Sunday, April 21, 8, 9:30, or 11am.

DNOW: Joplin, MO. Middle school and high school students, join us April 5-7 as we head to Joplin, MO to Journey Church for a Disciple Now weekend with singer Britnee Wilson & the band, All We Are! DNOW is like a mini camp/retreat all packed into one weekend. The theme is ONEwithHIM with the focus being on unity and community in our relationship with the Lord and others. We will leave the church by bus on Friday at 4pm and come back at 4pm on Sunday. Cost is $40 . Register online by Sunday, March 31.

Grace Beliefs Class. What does Grace Church believe and teach? Explore ten core subjects that help shape our beliefs here at Grace. This is a four week instructor-led and discussion-oriented Bible Study. Topics covered include our beliefs on God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, salvation, scripture, baptism, communion, the local church, Genesis, Satan, the return of Christ and eternity. Grace Personal Worship Class. Our Creator desires that we love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. This hands-on, interactive study will teach you practical ways to draw closer to God and what that looks like on a daily basis. Grace Vision Class. This class, taught by Senior Pastor Tim Howey, is an authentic, action-packed class that outlines the history, uniqueness, and heartbeat behind Grace Church. Grace@Home. Grace@Home is a 20+ year discipleship model developed to support parents in raising children who are lifetime followers of Christ. Children's Ministry Vision Class. Our Children’s Ministry is excited to offer a class explaining how we minister to your child and how you can build on that throughout the week at home. We will also discuss procedures we have put in place to keep your kids safe. The last few minutes of the class will cover the information needed to be a volunteer. Easter Services Volunteers Needed. We have opportunities in the Children's Ministry and on our First Impressions Team. We are expecting hundreds of people to walk through the doors at Grace on Easter weekend and would love to have you be a part of it. Hope Faith Family Serve Day. Hope Faith Ministries is a faith-based ministry that serves the needs of the homeless and less fortunate in Kansas City. Come see for yourself how we are ministering to those in our own backyard. Please observe the dress code of sleeved shirts (no tank tops), pants, and closed-toe shoes. Ages 5 and up are welcome to participate. Meet at Grace at 8:15am to caravan down. Second Saturday of every month; next one on Saturday, April 13, 9-11am; bingo 11am-12pm.

Student Ministries Volunteer Training. Working with students can be intimidating, the Student Ministries Team understands that and is hosting training sessions for our current volunteers as well as those interested in joining the exciting world of Student Ministries! These informal training sessions will allow us to help equip adults in mentoring and relationship building with students. Sunday, April 14, 11am-12pm.

Freedom Fire "Friday Night Live." Come be a missionary in your own city! No preparation needed. Simply show up to play activities with 80-100 urban kids, make crafts together, serve a meal, clean-up, and show the love of Jesus!
