Middle school boys and their dads are invited to join Grace Student Ministries for a guys-day-out at "The College Basketball Experience" held at the Sprint Center in downtown KC. Parents of Teens Class. The teen years are ones of incredible opportunity. Connect with other parents of teens for a 10 session class led by Dr. Tim Nelson. Dr. Nelson is a professor of Marriage & Family at Friends University. He will be leading us through important topics related to the final years your child is in the home. Wednesdays@Grace Kids-Students-Adults. Wednesdays@Grace for kids is designed to help our elementary children grow in Christ, learn to live their faith in everyday life and learn to reach into the community and share Him with others. Our preschool volunteers use Wednesday nights to reinforce what was taught on the weekend and to help little ones gain a deeper knowledge of Biblical stories and concepts. Our nursery is also available to care for kids from birth through 24 months. For adults, we offer a university model discipleship emphasis. SOAR Family Support Group. Grace offers a support group for families of individuals with special needs. This is a place where parents can laugh, cry, and pray together. We often focus on topics that relate to raising a child with special needs and allow parents to share with one another. Childcare will be available through the Children's Ministry. Hope Faith Family Serve Day. Second Saturday of every month. Hope Faith Ministries is a faith-based ministry that serves the needs of the homeless and less fortunate in Kansas City.
